V RESULTING <br />FROM AN INCREASE IN THE RATE OF TAX IM- <br />POSED BY THE CITY OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, a redevelopment plan is being considered for Redevelop- <br />ment Agency <br />edevelopment.Agency Project No. 5 in the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 33675 of the California Health and Safety Code <br />authorizes the City of Colton to elect to have allocated to itself all or any <br />portion of the tax revenues which would otherwise be allocated to a special <br />fund of a redevelopmentagency pursuant to Section 33670(b) of the Health and <br />Safety Code and which are attributable to increases in the rate of tax imposed <br />for the benefit of the City of Colton occurring after the tax year in which the <br />ordinance adopting the redevelopment plan becomes effective; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Colton that the City of Colton does hereby elect to be allocated all tax <br />revenues from property within the said project arising from any such tax rate <br />increase; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with the provisions of <br />Section 33675 of the Health and Safety Code copies of this resolution shall be <br />transmitted forthwith to the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, the <br />Tax Collector of the County of San Bernardino, and the Auditor -Controller of <br />the County of San Bernardino. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED 'and APPROVED this 16th day of August, 1977. <br />B BELTRAN <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
