THE <br />EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS RESOLUTION FOR <br />THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON THAT RESOLUTION NO. 2996 <br />BE AND IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 3 (Q) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(Q) RECOGNIZED EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS ---means an employee organization <br />which has been acknowledged by the Municipal Employee Relations Officer as <br />an employee organization that represents employees of the City. Formal <br />recognition is the right to meet and confer in good faith as the majority <br />representative in an appropriate unit. <br />SECTION 2. Section 9 (B) is hereby deleted and (C) and (D) are hereby <br />relettered (B) and (C) respectively. <br />SECTION 3. All references in Sections of Resolution 29965 other than <br />addressed above, to informally recognized employee organizations shall be <br />Ideleted. <br />SECTION 4. The effective date hereof shall be the date of adoption. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED this 4th day of October, 1977. <br />ABE E.
