11 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8( <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3729 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON REQUESTING THE SAN BERNARDINO <br />VALLEY MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT TO PERFORM <br />AN ADDITIONAL STUDY RELATIVE TO SUPPLEMENTAL <br />WATER SUPPLY IN SERVICE AREA NO. 8. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is located within Service Area No. 8 <br />of the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District and is a member of the <br />Service Area No. 8 Water Supply Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council and Staff of this City have received and <br />considered the "Study of Supplemental Water Supply for Service Area No. 8" pre- <br />pared for the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District by Neste, Brudin & <br />Stone, Civil Engineers; and <br />WHEREAS, it now appears that an additional study would be appro- <br />priate to further explore the feasibility of bringing supplemental water to <br />Service Area No. 8. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Colton as follows: <br />1. The Board of Directors of the San Bernardino Valley Municipal <br />Water District is hereby requested to have an additional <br />Financial and Institutional Study performed to implement the <br />Study previously referred to. <br />2.
