2 <br />3 1 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3782 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did con- <br />sider an Amendment to the adopted General Planof the City of Colton, said Amend- <br />ment consisting of the Land Use Element, Index No. A-3-78; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed Amendment by <br />the Planning'Commission on February 14, 1978; and <br />WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appears to the City Council that the <br />public interest, necessity, convenience and general welfare will be best served <br />by the amendment to the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, said Amendment is referred to in Planning Commission. <br />Resolution No. 865; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment to the General <br />Plan consisting of the Land Use.Element, Index No. A-3-78, which involves the <br />proposed land use redesignation of two areas of the City: (Exhibit 1-A) Area One <br />consists of approximately 8.5 acres and is located in the south-central portion <br />of the City; Area Two encompasses an approximate total of 85 acres and is located <br />in the southeast section of Colton and includes land under the City's Sphere of <br />Influence within the ;C6unty's jurisdiction, is hereby .approved. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of March, 1978. <br />ABE E.
