RESOLUTION NO. 3795 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL MAKING; FINDINrS ON PETITION. CITY OF COLTON WHEREAS, certain property owners have presented an executed _ Petition requesting the construction of certain public works of improvement,.together with appurtenances and appurtenant work in connection therewith; said improvements to be con- structed pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, with bonds to be issued to fund and finance said improvements pursuant to the bond terms of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of said Code, in a special assessment district known and desig- nated as ASSESS14ENT DISTRICT NO. 78-1 [MT. VERNON AVENUE AND COOLEY DRIVE, PHASE 111 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and, %THEREAS, it has been reported that said Petition contains the signatures of at least five (5) owners owning more than sixty percent (60%) of the property of the assessable area of the property -to be subject to assessment for the proposed works of. improvement. Said Petition meets the reauirements of Section. 2804 of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and,_ WHEREAS, said Petition further meets the requirements of Chapter 8 of the "Improvement Act of 1911", and specifically Sections 5896.5 and 5896.6 of said Code. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. That said City Council finds that said Petition' has been signed by five (5) owners of assessable land, as well as owners owning land constituting more than sixty percent (60%) of all assessable lands within the boundaries of the proposed Assessment District. SECTION 3. That said Petition shall he filed in the Office of the City Clerk and shall remain open to.public inspection. SECTION 4. That said Petition meets the requirements of sec- tion 2804 of Division 4 of the Streets and High- ways Code of the State of California and further
