31 FOLLOWS: RESOLUTION NO. 3810 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALLING A PUBLIC HEAR- ING TO DETERMINE WHETHER PUBLIC NECES- SITY, HEALTH, SAFETY OR WELFARE REQUIRES THE FORMATION OF AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1325 establishes a procedure for the crea- tion of underground utility districts and requires as the initial step in such I :L0 1procedure the holding of a public hearing t I o as -certain whether public necessity, 11,1health, or welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated 1 12 joverhead structures and the underground inst allation of wires and facilities for 13 Isupplying electric, communication, or similar or associated service in any such 14 i district; and :L5 WHEREAS, it has been recommended that such an underground utility 16 -Idistrict, hereinafter called "District", be formed in the area described as 37 1 follows: 1 11.3 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 271 281 1 A strip of land 200 feet wide lying 100 feet on each side of the;following.described centerline beginning at a point of intersection with Mt. Vernon Avenue and the easterly prolongation of the north right-of-way line of Washington Street as shown on that certain Record of Survey, recorded July 23, 1974, in Book 29, at Pages 41 through 46, of Record of Surveys; thence northerly along said centerline of Mt. Vernon Avenue to its intersection with the easterly Prolongation of the South right-of-way line Of Cooley Lane as shown on said Record of Survey, Recorded July 23, 1974.
