s RESOLUTION NO. 3820 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR CONTRIBUTION TO PAY CERTAIN COSTS AND EXPENSES IN AN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF COLTON WHEREAS, this City Council has, by. Resolution, declared its inten- tion to authorize the construction of certain works of improvements pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", -being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, in a special assessment district known and designated as ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 78-1 [MT.: VERNON AVENUE AND COOLEY DRIVE, PHASE II] (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and, WHEREAS, this City Council, at this time, is desirous of providing a contribution to ,pay a portion of the costs and expenses of the work and proceedings; and, WHEREAS, this City Council, pursuant to the provisions of Section - 10205 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California may so provide for a contribution to pay a portion of the costs and expenses. at any time prior to the confirmation of the pro- ceedings on said Assessment District. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. .That the City Council shall contribute and appropriate gas a contribution the amount as set forth in the En- gineer s n-gineer's "Report" to be applied as a contribution tri :ward certain of the costs and expenses for the works of improvement. Said 'funds shall be appropriated from n the United States Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration Funds to pay for portion ,.of the works of improvement within MT. VERNON AVENUE. SECTION 3_ That said contribution is authorized pursuarit"to Sec= tion 10205 of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
