RESOLUTION NO. 3844 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHING <br />A FEE FOR PROCESSING LAND AND ASSESSMENT <br />DIVISION APPLICATIONS PURSUANT TO THE PRO- <br />VISIONS OF THE "IMPROVEMENT BOND'ACT OF 1915111 <br />BEING DIVISION 10 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />WHEREAS, this City has recently completed assessment proceedings <br />for the construction of certain public improvements in what is <br />known and designated as <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 76-1 <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"), pursuant <br />to the provisions of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915,, being <br />Division l0 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of. <br />California; and, <br />WHEREAS, assessments have been levied and bonds issued on certain <br />parcels of property whereby it is -determined that substantial <br />number of parcels will be sold and divided, and requests and appli- <br />cation will be made for the division of assessments on the divided <br />lots or parcels, all as so provided in said "Improvement Bond Act <br />Of 1915"; and, <br />WHEREAS, the legislative body is desirous of establishing a,reason- <br />abie fee for processing applications for division of land and <br />assessment in order to reimburse the City for the necessary costs <br />so incurred as set forth in said "Improvement Bond'Act of 1915 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. <br />SECTION 2. That the following fee schedule is hereby determined <br />to be reasonable and is an amount that will reimburse <br />the City for the necessary costs in processing`appll- <br />cations for division of land and bond pursuant to <br />the "Improvement Bond Act of 191511, being Division <br />10 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br />California. <br />A. All applications for division of land and <br />assessment shall be accompanied by a fee <br />of$240.00 <br />for each separate part or <br />parcel of land into which the original lot <br />or parcel has been divided. <br />B. If no application is fired, at the time the <br />Superintendent of Streets files the amended <br />assessment pursuant to order by this City <br />Council, the fee is determined to be <br />$ 250.00 for each separate part or parcel <br />
