Providing to its residents access to the materials and <br />services of other libraries in the state through resource sharing; <br />b. Obtaining the maximum state and federal funding in support <br />of such sharing; and <br />E <br />c. Augmenting services to those segments of the community not <br />i <br />presently served; and <br />WHEREAS, the California Library Services Board has funds -avail- <br />able under the California Library Services Act (Education Code Title 1, Division <br />1, Part 11, Chapter 4) to assist and support the sharing of library materials <br />and services by California's libraries; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Colton Public Library is <br />authorized to participate in the programs of the California Library Services <br />Act; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Librarian of the'Colton <br />Public Library be directed and authorized to annually apply for and accept <br />funds under this California Library Services Acta <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of August, 1978. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
