3 <br />II RESOLUTION NO. 3857 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY. <br />3 OF COLTON TO CONSIDER A MEMORANDUM OF UNDER- <br />STANDING FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS <br />4 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO-PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' <br />ASSOCIATION FIRE CHAPTER OF THE CITY OF <br />5, COLTON, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1978. <br />3) <br />S WHEREAS, the City Council has given full consideration to the <br />7 Iresults of meetings between representatives of the City of Colton and represen- <br />8 <br />Itatives of the San Bernardino Public Employees' Association Fire Chapter held <br />9 jpursuant to Government Code Section 3500, et seq.; <br />3.8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Memorandum of Understand - <br />11 ling marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto is incorporated into and made a part of <br />12 l Resolution No. 3857. <br />13 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions provided herein shall <br />14 I be effective as of July 1, 1978. <br />1.5 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of September, 1978. <br />:Lf <br />17 . <br />FRANK A.
