BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of COLTON AS I FOLLOWS: ? SECTION 1. That RULE XI, ATTENDANCE AND LEAVES, Section 10, "City Holidays", of the Personnel System Rules and Regulations g ns for the City of Colton, Resolution No. 2240, be amended to read as follows: a. Municipal Offices shall be closed on the following legal holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, New Year's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, W y, ashington s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day,, Veteran's Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day appointed by the President or Governor for a public fast, thanksgiving or holiday. When a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed; when a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed. b. General Employees will observe one floating holiday annually, pursuant to Resolution No. 3860, Exhibit "A", Item No. 4. This, however, does not effect members of the Police Depart- ment who are sworn personnel, dispatchers or Animal Control Officer.The aforementioned personnel will treat Election 9 Day as a holiday. 9 3:9-j c. Only regular full-time and provisional full-time employees shall be eligible for holiday pay. Fire 24-hour shift schedule shall personnel on a 2� !
