2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11. 12 17! 18 19 20 21- 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ii RESOLUTION NO. 3872 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. (Chapter 27, District Number 18) The City Council of the City of Colton does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: . i � (a ) That a petition has been received from more !than sixty percent (60%) of the property owners in the area requesting the con- struction of alley paving in the following block: Between °N" Street and "0" Street, and between 5th Street and the Santa Fe Railroad. d (b) That it is the intention of the City Council to (cause said improvements to be constructed, at the sole expense of the owners of j jproperties in and along said above described areas, pursuant to Section 5870, et seq., of the Streets and .Highways Code of the.State of California. i SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby instruct- ied to mail and post no to construct said improvements,as required by law. SECTION 3. That pursuant to said Section 5870, et seq., the ;City Council does hereby declare that on the 5th day of December, 1978, in the i Council Chambers, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, at 7:30 p. m., it will hear and pass upon any and all objections and protests to the ordering of the construction of said improvements. SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests.
