RULE XI, Attendance and Leaves, is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />Section 4a. Accumulated Sick Leave at Termination <br />of Employee. <br />New Paragraph: <br />The City shall provide each employee who is granted a <br />service retirement (rather than a disability retire- <br />ment) , a sum equal to the cash value of seventy-five <br />percent (750) of the employee's accumulated sick <br />leave, after thirty ( 30 ) cumulative years of service <br />with the City. The cash value shall be computed at <br />the employee's hourly rate in existence at the time <br />the monies are disbursed. <br />Section 8. City Holidays. <br />Amendment: <br />(b) General employees will observe two floating <br />holidays annually. <br />(c) Fire personnel on a 24-hour shift schedule shall <br />accrue holiday time at a rate of 120 hours (5 <br />shifts) annually. <br />2. The effective date hereof shall be January 1, <br />1983. <br />
