1 <br />2 <br />3' <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4311 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CREDIT CARDS. <br />WHEREAS, various City Officials are required to incur <br />expenses on behalf of the City from time to time, and <br />WHEREAS, it is at times not possible to anticipate such <br />expenses exactly, and <br />WHEREAS, cash expenditures are not preferred, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The City Manager is authorized and directed to apply for <br />and obtain credit cards such as Master Charge, VISA, etc. issued <br />on the name of the City of Colton. <br />The City Manager is authorized to permit such cards to <br />be used by City Officials, including the City Manager, Mayor, <br />Council Members, City Clerk, City Treasurer, City Attorney, and <br />Heads of City Departments for Official City Business. <br />It is not intended that any added expense be incurred <br />hereby. <br />Charges on such City Credit Cards shall be for properly <br />authorized and budgeted City expenses only. <br />Personal use of such cards is strictly prohibited. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED May 3, 1983. <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
