1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4332 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF <br />COLTON OFFICE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />TO IMPLEMENT THE SEWER CONNECTION GRANT <br />PROGRAM AS AN ACTIVITY TO BE USED IN <br />CONJUNCTION WITH AND A PART OF THE <br />1982-83 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT SEWER IMPROVEMENTS TO COLTON <br />PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has received a grant for <br />$500,000 to improve the sewer system within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, said sewer improvements will be located in <br />lg <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 � <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />reqs previously void of sewer; and <br />WHEREAS, these areas are currently served through sep- <br />is tanks or cesspools; and <br />WHEREAS, septic tanks and cesspools may be injurious to <br />the water table; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned grant monies included $60,000 <br />for the purpose of defraying homeowner costs involved with connec- <br />ting to the new sewer lines. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />28 HATTEST: <br />The Sewer Connection Grant Program (Exhibit "A") <br />is hereby approved and shall be implemented by <br />the City of Colton, Office of Community Develop- <br />ment of the Planning Department, as set forth in <br />the Program's policies and procedures. <br />PASSED?
