TWO TO THE <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT OF THE SOUTHERN <br />CALIFORNIA PUBLIC POWER AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 5. Division <br />7, Title 1 of the Government Code of the State of California, <br />the City of Colton and certain other public agencies created <br />pursuant to the laws of the State of California have entered <br />into a Joint Powers Agreement, as amended, creating the Southern <br />California Public Power Authority (the "Authority"), a public <br />entity separate and apart from its members; and <br />WHEREAS, the members of the Authority, including the City <br />of Colton, desire to amend the Joint Powers Agreement to <br />specifically express the power of the Authority to issue <br />refunding bonds pursuant to Section 6576 of the Government Code <br />of the State of California. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Colton that Amendment Number Two to the Joint Powers <br />Agreement creating the Authority, as amended, is hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to execute and deliver, and the City Clerk to attest and seal, <br />said Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Colton. <br />This Resolution is adopted at a meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Colton this Z jh day of June 1983. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />( SEAL) <br />City Clerk <br />
