RESOLUTION NO. 1080 <br />1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did consider a <br />2 General Plan Amendment, File Index No. G-1-83, requested by G. W. Singletary <br />3 et al, to amend the General Plan from Agricultural to General Industrial, <br />4 on 3+ acres located on the southeast corner of Agua Mansa Road and Riverside <br />5 Avenue and staff initiated an amendment for the property immediately adjacent <br />6 to the north (5.62± acres) (.see attached Exhibit A); and <br />7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did give notice of the Public Hearing, <br />8 as required by law; and <br />9 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold said Public Hearing and con - <br />10 sidered General Plan Amendment on June 14, 1983; and <br />11 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the General Plan <br />12 and the neighborhood would be better served by the inclusion of this addi- <br />1 3 tional area; and <br />14 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, having studied and researched such <br />15 application, makes the following findings: <br />16 1. The project is consistent with the Elements of the General Plan. <br />17 2. The project will create consistency with the base zoning. <br />18 3. The proposal will be compatible with its surrounding uses. <br />19 4. The proposal will not have a significant impact on the environment. <br />20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby <br />21 recommend approval to the City Council of File Index No. G-1-83. <br />22 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by <br />23 the Planning Commission of the City of -Colton, County of San Bernardino, <br />24 State of California, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on <br />25 the 14th day of June, 1983, by the following vote, to wit: <br />26 AYES: Albiso, Coleman, Cook, Face, Grider, Vilches <br />27 NOES: None <br />28 ABSENT: Mosher <br />Director <br />
