RESOLUTION NO. 1080 1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did consider a 2 General Plan Amendment, File Index No. G-1-83, requested by G. W. Singletary 3 et al, to amend the General Plan from Agricultural to General Industrial, 4 on 3+ acres located on the southeast corner of Agua Mansa Road and Riverside 5 Avenue and staff initiated an amendment for the property immediately adjacent 6 to the north (5.62± acres) (.see attached Exhibit A); and 7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did give notice of the Public Hearing, 8 as required by law; and 9 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold said Public Hearing and con - 10 sidered General Plan Amendment on June 14, 1983; and 11 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the General Plan 12 and the neighborhood would be better served by the inclusion of this addi- 1 3 tional area; and 14 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, having studied and researched such 15 application, makes the following findings: 16 1. The project is consistent with the Elements of the General Plan. 17 2. The project will create consistency with the base zoning. 18 3. The proposal will be compatible with its surrounding uses. 19 4. The proposal will not have a significant impact on the environment. 20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby 21 recommend approval to the City Council of File Index No. G-1-83. 22 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by 23 the Planning Commission of the City of -Colton, County of San Bernardino, 24 State of California, at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on 25 the 14th day of June, 1983, by the following vote, to wit: 26 AYES: Albiso, Coleman, Cook, Face, Grider, Vilches 27 NOES: None 28 ABSENT: Mosher Director
