Effective upon adoption of this Memorandum of Understanding, a <br />Grievance Procedure shall be in effect. The purpose of the Grievance Procedure <br />would be to improve employer-employee relations. For details, see attach- <br />ment "A". <br />2. Maintenance of Benefits --All the terms and conditions of the <br />employment of all employees represented in existence immediately prior to the <br />effective date of this Memorandum of Understanding shall remain the same, <br />unchanged, and in full force unless altered by mutual agreement of the City of <br />Colton and the Fire Unit represented through San Bernardino Public Employees <br />Association. <br />3.
