NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON TUESDAY, THE <br />4 <br />IST DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1983, AT THE HOUR OF 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M., IN <br />5 <br />THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, ANY AND ALL PERSONS HAVING ANY <br />6 <br />OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, ACQUISITION, IF <br />7 <br />ANY, OR ASSESSMENT, OR EXTENT OF THE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, OR THE <br />8 <br />PROPOSED GRADES, MAY APPEAR AND SHOW CAUSE WHY SAID WORK SHOULD <br />9 <br />NOT BE DONE OR CARRIED OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID RESOLUTION OF <br />10 <br />INTENTION AND THE "REPORT" OF THE ENGINEER. PROTESTS MUST BE IN <br />11 <br />WRITING AND MUST BE DELIVERED AT OR BEFORE THE TIME SET FOR THE <br />12 <br />HEARING. <br />13 <br />SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to <br />14 <br />give notice of said hearing by causing to be conspicuously posted <br />15 <br />on all open streets within the Assessment District, not more than <br />16 <br />300 feet apart on each street so posted, but not less than three <br />17 <br />(3) in all, notice of the passage of this Resolution, all in <br />18 <br />accordance with the provisions of said Division 12 of the Streets <br />19 <br />and Highways Code of the State of California. <br />20 <br />SECTION 5. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to <br />21 <br />give notice of said hearing and of the passage of the Resolution <br />22 <br />of Intention and this Resolution by causing such notice to be <br />23 <br />published in accordance with Section 6066 of the Government Code, <br />24 <br />in the COLTON COURIER, a newspaper published or of general <br />25 <br />circulation within the District, which is hereby designated for <br />26 <br />the purpose, all in accordance with the provisions of said <br />27 <br />Division 12. <br />28 <br />
