1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4376 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- <br />PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1983-84. <br />WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, <br />1979, added Article XIII B to the State Constitution placing <br />various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local <br />governments; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII B provides that the appro- <br />priations limit for the fiscal year 1983 - 84 is calculated by <br />adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal year 1978-79 <br />for changes in the cost of living and population; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with <br />all the provisions of Article XIII B in determining the appro- <br />priations limit for fiscal year 1983 - 84. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- <br />priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1983 - 84 shall <br />be $8,616,141 for the City of Colton. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of <br />(November 1983. <br />(ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
