RESOLUTION NO. 4486 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />1 OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPRO- <br />2 PRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 1984-85. <br />3 <br />4 WHEREAS, the voters of California, on November 6, <br />5 1979, added Article XIII -B to the State Constitution placing <br />6 various limitations on the appropriations of the state and local <br />7 governments; and <br />8 WHEREAS, Article XIII -B provides that the appro- <br />9 priations limit for the fiscal year 1984-85 is calculated by <br />10 adjusting the base year appropriations of fiscal. year 1978-79 <br />11 for changes in the cost of living and population; and <br />12 WHEREAS, the City of Colton has complied with <br />13 all the provisions of Article XIII -B in determining the appro- <br />14 priations limit for fiscal year 1984-85. <br />15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appro- <br />16 priations subject to limitation in fiscal year 1984-85 shall <br />17 be $9,326,111 for the City of Colton. <br />18 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 28th day of <br />19 June 1984. <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 ALBERT A.
