1 RESOLUTION NO. 4508 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO SIGN <br />3 THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 1985-86, 1986- <br />4 87, AND 1987-88, WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY OF- <br />FICE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />5 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been <br />6 <br />notified by the San Bernardino County Office of Community Develop <br />- <br />7 <br />ment of its eligibility to participate in the County's Three-Year <br />8 <br />Community Development Block Grant Cooperating Cities Program; and. <br />9 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the noti- <br />10 <br />fication and Cooperating Cities Agreement has made clear that en- <br />11 <br />tering into the Cooperating Cities Agreement will be binding for <br />12 <br />Three Years; and <br />1.3 <br />WHEREAS, the Cit; Council has been informed that the City <br />14 <br />may not apply for or participate in any other Community Developmeni <br />15 <br />Block Grant funded programs other than those included in the Cooper <br />16 <br />ating Cities Agreement for the Three Year period covered by said <br />17 <br />Agreement; and <br />18 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Cooperatii <br />19 <br />Cities Agreement and the conditions and responsibilities that rela <br />20 <br />to said Agreement. <br />21 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />22 <br />City of Colton that the Mayor of the City of Colton be authorized <br />23 <br />to sign the Cooperation Agreement for Community Development Block <br />24 Grant Funds for the Fiscal Years 1985-86, 1986-87 and 1987-88, and <br />25 <br />submit said Agreement to the San Bernardino County Office of Com- <br />26 unity Development. <br />27 PASSED, APPROVED and A-DOPTED this 4th day of September, <br />28 984. <br />
