<br />gence of a general character, and which newspaper
<br />at all the times herein mentioned had and still
<br />has a bona fide subscription list of paying sub-
<br />scribers, end which newspaper has been estab-
<br />lished, printed and published at regular intervals
<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertainment or instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of same; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, has been
<br />published in each regular and entire issue of said
<br />newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on

<br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
<br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA,
<br />DECLARING ITS INTENTION
<br />TO ORDER THE ABANDON-
<br />MENT OF A PORTION OF
<br />DEBERRY STREET.
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION 1. That the City
<br />Council of the City of Colton does
<br />hereby declare its intention to
<br />order the abandonment of that
<br />portion of DeBerry Street, a por-
<br />tion of Gov. Lot 1, Block 51 and
<br />Gov. Lot 2, Block 52, Por. ERA.
<br />Sec. 6 T.2S.R.4W., S.B.B.&M.
<br />Records of the County of San
<br />Bernardino, State of California,
<br />described as follows:
<br />DeBerry Street, as described
<br />in Exhibit "A" attached and
<br />made a part herto as set
<br />forth.
<br />For further particulars as to
<br />the proposed abandonment,
<br />reference is made to the map on
<br />file in the Office of the City Clerk
<br />of Colton, California.
<br />SECTION 2. That the hour of
<br />7:30 p.m. on the 4th day of
<br />December, 1984 in the Council
<br />Chambers In the City Hall, Col-
<br />ton, California, be and the same
<br />is fixed as the time and place
<br />-when and where all persons in-
<br />terested in or objecting to the
<br />proposed abandonment may ap-
<br />pear before the City Council.
<br />SECTION 3. That Daniel H.
<br />Burnett, City Engineer of the Ci-
<br />ty of Colton, is hereby directed to
<br />cause "Notice of Street Vaca-
<br />tion" to be posted as required by
<br />law.
<br />SECTION 4. That the public
<br />convenience and necessity re-
<br />quire
<br />ce reservations d ex-
<br />ceptions of easements and
<br />rights-of-way for structures
<br />enumerated in Section 8330 of the
<br />Streets and Highways Code, and
<br />all proceedings taken herein and
<br />to be taken are subject to such
<br />reservations and exceptions.
