The City Council of the City of Colton having <br />elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of <br />the Streets & Highways Code of the State of California, and having <br />held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all <br />the evidences submitted that the portion of DeBerry Street, a por- <br />tion of Gov. Lot 1, Block 51, and Gov. Lot 2,, Block 52, Por. ERA. <br />Sec. 6 T.2S.R.4W., S.B.B. & M., Records of San Bernardino County, <br />State of California, described as follows: <br />All that portion of DeBerry Street being 66 feet <br />in width lying Westerly of the prolongation of <br />the West right-of-way line of Terrace Avenue, to <br />the Easterly right-of-way line of the Atchison <br />Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, as shown on Parcel Map <br />No. 7346, recorded in Book 79, Pages 97 and 98, <br />Records of said County. <br />Reserving the above described property for utility <br />purposes. <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes <br />and the public interest and convenience requires the closing of <br />said street. <br />SECTION 2. Accordingly, the City Council of the City of <br />lColton hereby I order the vacation of the hereinbefore described <br />[street. <br />I <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of December, <br />
