R <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />I <br />k� <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />PQM <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />K.1�1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4534 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br />AND THE PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION GRANT FUNDS FOR CITY OF COLTON <br />PUBLIC LIBRARY PROJECT FROM THE CALIFORNIA <br />PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ACT OF 1984. <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature under the California Park and <br />Recreational Act of 1984 has authorized the establishment of a <br />Historic Preservation Grant Program, providing matching funds to <br />the Political subdivisions of the State for historic preservation <br />projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the California Office of Historic Preservation <br />in the Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the <br />administration of the program within the State, setting up neces- <br />sary rules and procedures governing application by local agencies <br />under the program; and <br />WHEREAS, said adopted procedures established by the De- <br />partment of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certi- <br />fy by resolution the approval of applications and the availabil- <br />ity of local matching funds prior to submission of said applica- <br />tions to the State; <br />hereby: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />1. Approves the filing of an application for the His- <br />toric Preservation Grant assistance for project; and <br />2. Appoints the City Manager or his/her authorized <br />deputy as agent of the City to coordinate, process, <br />and execute all contracts, agreements, amendments <br />and ancillary documents within the scope of the <br />
