1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4560 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING LEASE OF <br />CARNEGIE LIBRARY BUILDING TO COLTON <br />AREA MUSEUM ASSOCIATION. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton owns the property at the <br />Southeast corner of La Cadena Drive and G Street and the Carnegie <br />Library Building thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Library has relocated from there to its <br />present location on 9th Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Area Museum Association is a Cali- <br />fornia Corporation organized to operate a Museum; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the community that <br />a Museum be established in Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The Lease attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", is hereby <br />approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to sign it on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March, 1985. <br />ATTEST: <br />(/aavij a . /a;,� <br />HELEN A.
