R- 10-94 <br />2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE FIL- <br />3 ING OF REBUTTAL ARGUMENTS FOR CITY <br />MEASURES SUBMITTED AT MUNICIPAL <br />4 ELECTIONS <br />5 EAS, Section 4015.5 and 5014.5 of the Elections Code of <br />the Sta California authorizes the City Council, by majority <br />7 te, to a provisions to provide for the filing of rebuttal <br />8 ents.for measures submitted at municipal elections; <br />W, THERE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />ER AS FOL- <br />10 F IA, DOES R VE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORD <br />11 - <br />12 CT 1. That p nt to Sections 4015.5 and 5014.5 of <br />13 th ections ode of the a of California, when the clerk has <br />14 sel arguments for a ainst the measure which will be <br />15 printed and dis uted to the rs, the clerk shall send <br />16 copies of the ar ent in favor o e measure to the authors of <br />17 the argum Inst, and copies of argument against to the <br />18 authors of the argument in favor. Th thors may prepare and <br />19 submit rebuttal arg ments not exceeding words. The rebuttal <br />20 arguments sha the City Cl not more than 10 <br />21 days after the final d e for filing direct uments. Rebuttal <br />22 arguments shall be printe me manne the direct <br />23 arguments. Each rebuttal a shall immedi ly follow the <br />24 direct argument which it see <br />25 SECTION 2.
