11 <br />4 <br />6 <br />7' <br />6 <br />G <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />1 Fi <br />16 <br />17' <br />16 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.40.180 of the <br />Colton Municipal Code, as enacted by Ordinance No. 0-04-95, the authority to exempt one <br />or more classes of persons subject to payment of the utilit ers tax. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDAR FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: <br />Property owners or residffs in whose name bills for utilities services are rendered for <br />services received on propertyAated in a lighting and landscape maintenance district of the City <br />of Colton shall be exem(fthe <br />m imposition of the Utility Users Tax established by Ordinance No. <br />0-04-95, Chapter 3.4 Colton Municipal Code. <br />SECTION APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION - REVIEW AND <br />CERTIFICATION <br />(a)pplication for exemption shall be filed with the Tax Administrator or his/her <br />written de ee on such forms as the Tax Administrator may provide. <br />Application may be filed at any time. <br />c) The applicant shall be the person in whose name the bills for utilities services are <br />ren ed at property located within a lighting and landscape maintenance district. <br />(d) Application shall be verified by declaration under perjury and shall contain such <br />information as may be required by the Tax Administrator or his/her written designee. <br />
