Pursuant to the requirements of SectionA403 of the Elections Code, the <br />Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino is reby requested to consent and agree <br />to the consolidation of a General Municipal Electi with the Statewide General election on <br />Tuesday, November 5, 1996, for the purpose of JF submitting the following proposed ordinance <br />to a vote of the electorate: <br />Shall Ordinance No. O-09-96, i osing a six percent (6%) <br />utility users tax within the Ci of Colton, be adopted? <br />YES <br />NO <br />SECTION 2. 'f% text of the ordinance submitted to the voters is attached as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION jF The Board of Supervisors is requested to issue instructions to the county <br />election departgfent to take any and all steps necessary for the holding of the consolidated <br />election. <br />ON 4. The City of Colton recognizes that additional costs will be incurred by the <br />by reasons of this consolidation and agrees to reimburse the County for any such costs. <br />SECTION 5. The City Clerk is hereby direct to file a certified copy of this resolution <br />F <br />ith the Board of Supervisors and the county election department of the County of San <br />Bernardino. <br />
