R- 5 9- 9 6 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1996 AND ENDING ON <br />JUNE 30, 1997. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The Budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencin� <br />on July 1, 1996 and ending on June 30, 1997 is hereby approved and adopted and <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. At the end of fiscal year 1995-96, certain purchase orders exist as <br />Outstanding Encumbrances representing contractual obligations of previously budgeted <br />funds. Also budgeted funds for certain items or projects in various stages of acquisition or <br />development have previously been approved by the City Council to be carried forward to <br />fiscal year 1996-97 as Continuing Appropriations. The Outstanding Encumbrances and <br />Continuing Appropriations are deemed to be rebudgeted as an addition to the budget <br />amounts previously set forth in this resolution. <br />SECTION 3. The Approved Budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State. <br />SECTION 4. The reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager.
