R-122-03 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-98-03 THE CONSOLIDATED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR <br />ALL PART-TIME CITY EMPLOYEE POSITIONS BY ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION <br />FOR THE POSITION OF PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (PART-TIME). <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, desires to create the position of <br />part-time Parking Enforcement Officer; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that experienced and well-qualified part-time <br />Police Parking Enforcement Officers are necessary for the Department to function effectively; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish a compensation range for the <br />position of part-time Parking Enforcement Officer by establishing an hourly rate which is <br />competitive with prevailing rates paid by other cities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 Resolution No. R-98-03 is hereby amended to establish the pay range <br />and classification for the part-time Police Parking Enforcement Officer, as follows: <br />SALARY <br />CLASSIFICATION RANGE HOURLY RATE <br />Parking Enforcement Officer <br />M. <br />$10.00 <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18t`' day of November, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
