R-137-03 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2003 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2004 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years <br />commencing <br />July 1, 2003 and ending June 30, 2004 was approved and adopted on June 10, 2003; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2003/2004 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, adjusting the capital improvement budget in the 457 (CIP) fund. <br />These changes are needed to cover the cost of the Big League Dreams sports park <br />project. Set-up budget for this project in account number 457-6800-6930-3890 in the <br />amount of $10,605,958 including a transfer of $2,487,637 from the General Fund <br />Reserve account. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th Day of December 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
