III to the provisions of Government Code section 66016. <br />2 BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />3 1. Notice of the public meeting and public hearing at which this <br />4 Resolution was considered were properly given and all oral and written presentations made <br />to and heard by the City Council were properly considered. <br />5 <br />2. The cost estimates produced by City staff and considered by the City <br />6 Council in establishing fees pursuant to this Resolution are reasonable cost estimates for <br />the provision of the City services to which the fees pertain and were made available to the <br />7 public pursuant to Government Code section 66016. <br />8 <br />3. There is a reasonable relationship between the fees to be collected for <br />9 the provision of various City services and the City's costs in providing those services, as <br />10 identified in the data made available to the public. <br />4. The fees and fee increases set forth in Exhibit 'A" which is attached <br />11 hereto and incorporated herein by reference, do not exceed the actual or estimated costs <br />12 to the City of providing the services to which the fees relate. <br />13 5. The fees and fee increases are necessary to enable the City to provide <br />14 the services to which they relate. <br />15 6• The administrative fines and penalties set forth in Exhibit "B," which is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are necessary to protect the health, <br />16 safety, and welfare of the residents of Colton by deterring violations of the Colton Municipal <br />Code. <br />17 <br />7. The fees, fee increases, fines and penalties set forth in Exhibit "A" and <br />18 Exhibit "B" are hereby approved and adopted as the official fees, fines and penalties of the <br />19 City of Colton for the public services and violations referenced in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit <br />20 <br />8. This Resolution shall repeal portions of Resolution Nos. R-129-94, R- <br />21 71-00, R-80-01, R-37-02, and any other resolutions or portions thereof to the extent that <br />22 such resolutions or portions thereof are in conflict with this Resolution. <br />23 9.
