R-115-04 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, FISCAL YEARS <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July <br />1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/05 Fiscal <br />Year Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in the Police Department. These <br />changes are needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the <br />Police Management Association (PMA) bargaining unit. The total cost to implement the <br />above-mentioned changes for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 is $28,815 in the <br />following accounts: 100-6070-6071-1010 $6,858, 100-6070-6071-1100 $2,225, 100-6070- <br />6071-1105 $522: 100-6070-6072-1010 $6,858, 100-6070-6072-1100 $2,225, 100-6070-6072- <br />1105 $522: 100-6070-6072-1010 $6,858, 100-6070-6072-1100 $2,225, 100-6070-6072-1105 <br />$522. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th DAY OF OCTOBER 2004. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
