R-116-04 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, <br />FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July <br />1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/05 Fiscal <br />Year Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in the Fire Department. These <br />changes are needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the <br />Firefighters Local 935 bargaining unit. The total cost to implement the above-mentioned <br />changes for the City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 is $472,600 in the following <br />accounts: 100-6090-6091-1010 $260,000, 100-6090-6091-1060 $55,000, 100-6090-6091- <br />1050 $18,000: 100-6090-6091-1100 $120,000, 100-6090-6092-1010 $14,622, 100-6090- <br />6092-1100 $4987. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th DAY OF OCTOBER 2004. <br />ATT T: <br />CAROLINA P.
