R-142-04 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 11 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005. WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004 and WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, California authorizes entering into the State of California Agreement GLTK-4080 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of Education Latchkey Grant in the amount of $10,217. SECTION 2: Authorize the City Manager to sign the applicable documents. SECTION 3: It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/2005 Fiscal Year Latchkey Budget, increasing Revenue Account 206-5768 by $10,217, and increasing Expenditure Accounts by the corresponding amount of $10,217, with the following distribution. Increase B/G Maintenance Expenditure Account 206-7200-7202-2250 by $2,000 Increase Supplies/Postage Expenditure Account 206-7200-7202-2300 by $1,000 Increase Operating Supplies/Equipment Account 206-7200-7202-2301 by $2,000 Increase Instructional Material/Supply Account 206-7200-7202-2304 by $2,000 Increase Nutrition Account 206-7200-7202-2305 by $3,217.
