R-144-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 11 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved an Instruction Materials Grant in the <br />amount of $2,214 for the Colton Early Childhood Education Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004, and <br />WHEREAS, the Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino County, <br />California authorizes entering into local agreement number FIMS-4492 and that the City <br />Manager is authorized to sign the applicable documents for the entity. Therefore, is will be <br />necessary to make an amendment to the 2004/2005 Year Budget, increasing Expenditure <br />Account 206-7200-7202-2304 in the amount of $2,214, and increasing Revenue Account <br />206-5880 by the corresponding grant amount of $2,214. <br />SECTION 2: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 2004. <br />DEIRDRE H.
