R-73-04 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION DELEGATING THE CITY MANAGER AS AUTHORIZED <br />4 AGENT TO SUBMIT RETIREMENT APPLICATIONS TO THE PUBLIC <br />EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM PER SECTION 21152(c) OF THE <br />5 GOVERNMENT CODE <br />6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton (hereinafter referred to as Agency) is a contracting <br />7 agency of the Public Employees' Retirement System; <br />8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council delegate and it does <br />9 <br />hereby delegate to the incumbent of the position of City Manger authority to make <br />10 <br />applications on behalf of the Agency for disability retirement of all employees and to initiate <br />11 <br />requests for reinstatement of such employees who are retired for disability. <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 2004. <br />15 , <br />16 <br />DEIRDRE H.
