R-75-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO BE <br />EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />AND THE CITY OF COLTON RESULTING FROM THE JURISDICTIONAL <br />CHANGES DESCRIBED BY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION <br />NUMBER 2958. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 The City Council of the City of Colton hereby finds and determines that: <br />A. Pursuant to Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, Prior to the issuance of a <br />certificate of filing by the Local Agency Formation Commission Executive Officer, the <br />Governing bodies of all local agencies whose service area or service responsibilities <br />will be altered by a proposed jurisdictional change shall negotiate and determine by <br />resolution the amount of property tax revenues to be exchanged between and among <br />such local agencies. <br />B. Except as provided in Section 99.1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, in the event <br />that a jurisdictional change would affect the service area or service responsibility of <br />one or more special district, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br />Bernardino shall, on behalf of the district or districts, negotiate any exchange of <br />property tax revenues. <br />C. The City Council of the City of Colton and the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br />San Bernardino have determined the amount of property tax revenues to be <br />exchanged as a result of the following jurisdictional change: <br />LAFCO 2958 — Reorganization to include City of Colton Reorganization to <br />include South annexation NO. S — 50 (SubAreas Nos. 1 — 4). <br />SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of Colton hereby resolves and orders that: <br />1 <br />
