R-48-05 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO <br />AMEND THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 309 WEST CONGRESS STREET IN THE CITY <br />OF COLTON FROM MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL TO LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL: DAP NO. 000-373 <br />WHEREAS, Moss Equipment Rentals filed an application (File No. DAP -000- <br />373) requesting a general plan amendment to re -designate property from Medium Residential <br />(R-2) to Light Industrial (M-1) ("Application") for certain property located at 309 West <br />Congress Street (Assessor Parcel No. 0163-202-21) ("Subject Site") in the City of Colton, <br />County of San Bernardino; and <br />WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies <br />pursuant to section 65352 of the Government Code; <br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with <br />the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; <br />WHEREAS, on March 22, 2005, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Colton ("Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which <br />time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the <br />Application was fully studied; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending <br />approval of this Amendment to the General Plan of the City of Colton; <br />WHEREAS, on May 3, 2005, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City <br />Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all <br />persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application <br />was fully studied; and <br />have occurred; <br />WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution <br />
