The Subject Site is not physically suitable for the type and density of <br />development proposed inasmuch as it cannot accommodate lot sizes similar to those abutting <br />the Subject Site. This subdivision allows up to five lots that may not be able to construct patio or <br />additions to the rear of the property. Also, the proposed subdivision is not consistent with the R-1 <br />development standards. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council hereby denies the Appeal and denies all of the <br />Applications for the Subject Site in accordance with the findings set forth above. <br />SECTION 3. The City Council, in accordance with the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) hereby finds that the Applications are exempt under Section 15270 <br />(Statutory Exemptions). CEQA does not apply to projects which a public agency rejects or <br />disapproves. <br />SECTION 4.
