R-64-05 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 11 2004 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS, The Assembly Bill 212 (AB212) Stipend Project has approved a yearly <br />stipend in the amount of $23,450 for Childcare Division employees who attend school in an <br />early childhood education program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July <br />1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 28, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be <br />by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby approves and accepts <br />the AB212 Stipend for City Childcare Employees. As a result, it will be necessary to make <br />an amendment to the 2004-2005 Fiscal Year Budget, increasing the allocations for <br />Revenue Account 206-5889 and Expenditure Account 206-7200-7202-1160 by the grant <br />amount of $23,450. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June, 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
