4 <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-145-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2006 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007. <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved funding in the form of an <br />Instructional Materials Grant in the amount of $2,282 for the City of Colton Childcare <br />Program, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved and adopted on June 20, 2006, <br />and; <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget <br />shall be by approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino <br />County, California authorizes the acceptance of the Instructional Materials Grant, and <br />entering into local agreement number CIMS -6472. The City Manager is hereby <br />authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute this <br />agreement. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an <br />adjustment to the fiscal year 2006-07 budget. The allocations in the Childcare Fund, <br />Expenditure Account 206-7200-7202-2304 and Revenue Account 206-5880 shall both <br />be increased by the grant amount of $2,282. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAGY IAl U1 {'" t t� (JOU <br />CAROLINA R.
