R-147-06 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS COMMENCING JULY 1, 2006 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2007 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years <br />commencing <br />July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007 was approved and adopted on June 20, 2006; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBYRESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2006/2007 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, adjusting the Professional Services account 100-6030-6030-2350 <br />in the General Fund. This change is needed to cover the cost of professional (legal) <br />services needed to cover the cost of personnel investigations. The total cost for this <br />professional services contract is not to exceed $35,000 for fiscal year ending June 30, <br />2007 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of November 2006. <br /># let— <br />DEIRDRE H.
