R-151-06 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />INCREASING THE FISCAL YEAR 2006/2007 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 FOR THE FLEMING <br />PARK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"); <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006 <br />and ending June 30, 2007 was approved on June 20, 2006; <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of <br />the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of the appropriations between departmental activities may <br />be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is dedicated to improving the City's <br />infrastructure and aesthetic qualities; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding has been identified for the allocation of this project by drawing <br />from reserves. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DO HEREBY <br />RESOLVE that the funding for the added scope of work, holiday lighting, for the Fleming Park <br />Improvements Project be appropriated funding in the following manner: <br />1) Increase account 100-0717-6960-3890 by $10,000 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21St DAY OF NOVEMBER 2006. <br />DEIRDRE H.
