R-157-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, <br />2006 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007 APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT <br />APPLICATIONS TO THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR <br />ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATION REVIEW FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />2007-2008. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a <br />Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton will receive an <br />unspecified allocation of Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2007- <br />2008; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the County Department of <br />Community Development and Housing that they are accepting CDBG Project Proposal <br />Applications for Eligibility and Qualification Review for the Fiscal Year 2007-2008; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received Project Proposal Applications and has <br />conducted a community meeting to provide for and encourage citizen participation in <br />developing project proposals. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton submits the CDBG Project <br />Proposal Applications listed in Exhibit "A" to the County of San Bernardino Department of <br />Community Development and Housing to determine eligibility and qualification for the use <br />of CDBG funds for Fiscal Year 2007-2008. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 2006. <br />P-4 � oe-4 �11-- <br />KELLY 9 QVIASTAIN, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />tllu&� x�- J24&�'- <br />CAROLINA R.
