R-40-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2005 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2006 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved additional funding for the <br />School Age Resource Grant in the amount of $3,569 for the Colton Childcare <br />Program, and; <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006 was approved and adopted on June 21, 2005, <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget <br />shall be by approval and resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino <br />County, California authorizes the acceptance of the State School Age Resource <br />Grant, and entering into local agreement number CSCC-4173. The City Manager is <br />hereby authorized to sign the applicable documents on behalf of the City to execute <br />this agreement. <br />SECTION 2: As a result of this agreement, it is necessary to make an <br />adjustment to the fiscal year 2005-06 budget. The allocations in Expenditure Account <br />206-7200-7202-2304 and in Revenue Account 206-5880 shall both be increased by <br />the grant amount of $3,569. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED tPis lq' day of April, <br />ATTEST:V1.� <br />/r <br />CAROLINA P.
