R-55-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO SIGN THE <br />DELEGATE AGENCY AGREEMENT AND ITS ATTACHMENTS FOR COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2006-2007, 2007- <br />2008, AND 2008-2009, WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been notified by the County of <br />San Bernardino Department of Community Development and Housing of its eligibility to <br />participate in the County's Three -Year Community Development Block Grant Cooperating <br />Cities Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into a Cooperating Cities Agreement which <br />is binding for three years; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed that the City is now requested to <br />enter into a Delegate Agency Agreement, which are set forth to further implement the <br />provisions of the Cooperation Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the Delegate Agency Agreement <br />and its attachments are specifically subordinate and supplementary to, and concurrent with, <br />the City's Cooperation Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Delegate Agency Agreement, its <br />attachments, and the conditions and responsibilities that relate to said Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Colton City Council, by this Resolution, <br />officially authorizes execution of said Delegate Agency Agreement by the Mayor of the City of <br />Colton, and its attachments, for the Community Development Block Grant Funds for Fiscal <br />Years 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009, and submit said Delegate Agency Agreement <br />to the County of San Bernardino Department of Community Development and Housing. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution, along with said Delegate Agency <br />Agreement will be sent to the County of San Bernardino Department of Community <br />
