R-55-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO SIGN THE DELEGATE AGENCY AGREEMENT AND ITS ATTACHMENTS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2006-2007, 2007- 2008, AND 2008-2009, WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been notified by the County of San Bernardino Department of Community Development and Housing of its eligibility to participate in the County's Three -Year Community Development Block Grant Cooperating Cities Program; and WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into a Cooperating Cities Agreement which is binding for three years; and WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed that the City is now requested to enter into a Delegate Agency Agreement, which are set forth to further implement the provisions of the Cooperation Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the Delegate Agency Agreement and its attachments are specifically subordinate and supplementary to, and concurrent with, the City's Cooperation Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Delegate Agency Agreement, its attachments, and the conditions and responsibilities that relate to said Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Colton City Council, by this Resolution, officially authorizes execution of said Delegate Agency Agreement by the Mayor of the City of Colton, and its attachments, for the Community Development Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Years 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009, and submit said Delegate Agency Agreement to the County of San Bernardino Department of Community Development and Housing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution, along with said Delegate Agency Agreement will be sent to the County of San Bernardino Department of Community
