R-61-06 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2005, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2006. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />2005 and ending June 30, 2006, was approved and adopted on June 21, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to the budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2005/2006 Fiscal <br />Year Budget, appropriating funds to account number 261-6070-6083-4910 from the police <br />department's Federal Asset Forfeiture Account for the purchase a Mobile Command Post. <br />The additional capital expenditure from account 261-6070-6083-4910 will be in an amount <br />not to exceed $47,000.00 and will decrease the unappropriated account balance in the <br />Federal Asset Forfeiture Account. <br />SECTION 2. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted, and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 16`"day of May, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
