R-62-06 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2005 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2006 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year <br />commencing July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006 was approved and adopted on <br />June 21, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council, and; <br />WHEREAS: The City has received greater -than -anticipated donation funding <br />for this year's Unity Day Event, held May 13, 2006. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 - It has become necessary to make an amendment to the <br />2005/2006 Fiscal Year Budget, increasing allocations in the Donation Revenue <br />Account and the Community Events Expenditure Account in the General Fund Budget <br />for the Community Services Department. Revenue Account number 100-6745 shall <br />be increased by $5,200; and Expenditure Account number 100-6200-6214-2306 shall <br />be increased correspondingly by $5,200. <br />SECTION 2 - The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 6`" DAY OF JUNE, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
